Beautiful Creatures Interview

GB: What's the story about BEAUTIFUL CREATURES?
The band was formed in 2000,was quickly signed by Warner Bros. Toured most of 2001 and into 2002 with KISS, The Ozz Fest, Marilyn Manson, The Rolling Rock Tour to name a few. Since then we have had label, management and member changes. In 2005 we released Deuce on JVC Records in Japan and Spitfire Records in the US. We just shot a video for the single "Anyone" and are going on a US tour with The Gentitorturers in the fall.

GB: What was the main idea for "creating" BEAUTIFUL CREATURES?
To form a kick ass, unapologetic rock band.

GB: I read that the new BEAUTIFUL CREATURES CD "Deuce" will be out from "SPITFIRE RECORDS". What made you change you record label? Are you satisfied with SPITFIRE?
Yes, we are signed to SPITFIRE RECORDS and are happy with them. They are an independent company, so it is different than WB, but like I said we are happy with them. As far as WB, we were caught in the middle of the AOL-Time Warner merger.

GB: What is the connection with Bang Tango?
Joe LeSte was the singer

GB: Do you believe that, the sleazy sound will have (in the future) another chance to be as popular as in the 80's?
Things always come back around, but we aren't really living in the past. There are bands like Jet, Velvet Revolver, The Darkness, Avenge Seven Fold, Marilyn Manson, Buckcherry and us that are putting out rock music today. All of these bands and others are doing this style of music because it's what is inside them and it comes out in the truest form. So it doesn't matter if it's the popular thing to do, it's honest.

GB: What more can we expect from BC in the future?
Rock at it's finest.

GB: About your new album. Is it in the same attitude as your debut?
Yes, it has the same spirit, but we didn't want to write the same record twice, so it is different. I think it's heavier than the debut and we experimented with some different styles, but it's still BEAUTIFUL CREATURES.

GB: 4 records that you bought lately.
NIN "White Teeth," Head Automatica "Decadence," Avenge Sevenfold "City Of Evil," Black Rebel MotorcycleClub "Howl,"

GB: Your girlfriend is selling your record collection. What is your reaction?
My record collection is quite large, so she would get a lot of money for it... So I would say let's get two tickets to Vegas and let it all ride on red!

GB: A band from Sweden (HARDCORE SUPERSTAR), said in one of their songs....."They are not even the new Bang Tango". Why do you believe they said that? What is your answer?
I have no idea

GB: If there is anything that you would like to add...pls go ahead.
Do yourself a favour , buy the new BEAUTIFUL CREATURES CD "Deuce"
