GB: At first, congratulations for your new album “Sex Drugs and Rock n roll”.
KM: Thanks!
GB: Do you wanna tell us a few words about your new album?
KM:I worked on this album for a few years with Keri Kelli and it’s just an awesome album. Every song on it kicks ass!
GB: Did you wrote all lyrics and compose all music by yourself?
KM: I did this record with Keri Kelli. We made some arrangement and lyrical changes together but for the most part it’s all me. Keri is a major musical talent and a great . guy! Thank you bro! I need thank Jani Lane for letting me record 2 of his songs on the album. He is a genius songwriter!
GB: How come there is no record label involved in the release of the album?
KM:I decided to do it myself after getting ripped off by other labels. So I started my own label DIY records and it’s working. I’m making more money and I have full control of what I want to do. I need to thank the fans for there support, .because without them I would be shit!
GB: Why you have chosen such a “cliché” title for your album? Are sex, drugs & r’n’r dead?? KM:It’s a great song on the album and that’s what rock n roll is all about! So lets all have sex, drugs and rock n roll and forget about our problems for a night!
GB: Are there any guests in your album? Or a big surprise of any kind? (cover song etc)
KM:Keri Kelli and Chad Stewart are on the album. They did a great job. As for surprises you’ll have to buy the album to hear!
GB: How about tour plans? I read that you starting touring Europe around March 2007, with Bang Tango and Love/Hate. Any chance on coming to Greece?
KM: Yeah it’s gonna be a kick ass tour with 3 bands. We are trying to add a Greece date.
GB:What do you think of all those big reunions (Motley crue, NY Dolls, Twisted Sister etc.)?
KM: I think it’s great I love the old school rock and punk I grew up with! Cheers to them all!
GB: Which thought does the word 'glam' bring to your mind?
KM: Shit I hate that word! Everything needs to have a label. Man it’s just music and self expression!
GB: In 2003 you have released a tribute to Ramones album? Why especially them?
KM: That was the 1st concert I ever saw when I was 14 years in old NYC. They are the reason I picked up a guitar and started playing. One of the greatest bands of all time that never got the credit they deserved! I wanted pay my respects to them, even though I did a shitty job. I only had an 8 track back then but now I have a full blown pro tools studio and my recording skills are better. Joey , Dee Dee and Johnny RIP.
GB: Are you working on any new projects lately?
KM: Yes I am a new solo record that will be out in late 07 and a new project that will blow people away . More about that when it’s ready!
GB: I read somewhere that you have challenged Steve “sex” Summers on a fight. Is that true, and why?
KM: Yes I did. I challenged him to a UFC style fight in the ring with ref’s etc…..he backed out the pussy. I can’t discuss the details of it because it’s a legal matter right now but it will all come out in a few weeks and I will explain to the fans what has happened!
GB: Continuing from the previous question. Steve “sex” summers is reforming Pretty Boy Floyd and his planning on releasing a new album. What are your feelings about that? Does it make you feel angry that even though you are a founding member of PBF, you are not participating in the band?
KM: Yes Steve pisses me off because he has dragged the PBF name into the ground with revolving band members , etc…. We will see what Steve will be able to do after the lawsuits are settled.
GB: The word GangBang comes from old gangsta movies; nowadays we use it to describe a bunch of people having sex in various compilations. What is your opinion about GangBangs….have you ever participated in one? (if you find this question offensive, please do not answer it.)
KM: Never have . I’ve watched it in porno’s and it looks fucking awesome! Cheers to the Gang Bangs!
